I hope so I have heard people say that as well.  I won't believe anything until the lineup comes out.

  • sure hope not

I would be extremely disappointed if bruce headlined, ya he's a legend but I really hope they can come up with somethin better than that..... and as far as Phish i'd love to see it but Phish can sell out 100,000 tix to their own 3 day fest I doubt they'd come to play 1 set, even if it was 6 hours long

  • who were you hoping for...

Another beer swigging Metallicass show? or how about someone like Lil Wayne he'll be way better than a legend or someone like him. Yea I know PHISH could sell a shit load of tickets but you have to remember they really aren't a sellout lets see how many tickets we can sell band. I don't want a bunch of chart topping pop stars there please god No and the children that follow them please go to another festival and stay away from ours!!! I'm sick of this no jambands no PHISH but Jay-z would be cool shit theory.

Sure Phish can sell out a huge venue all on their own.  Or they can show up play and collect a check for a million plus dollars.   Not impossible, I don't think.

  • Hmmm . . . .

That is an interesting thought. I doubt this will happen.

Springsteen would be cool but only if he brings the E Street Band. I think the band as a whole brings a good vibe. It would depend who was playing at others times if I would see them or not . . .

Phish at Bonnaroo??? Pshhhhh . . .We know that the guys have announced a reunion for '09, but let's not get carried away. I personally already have my tickets for Hampton in March and that is good enough for me. However, just the thought of Trey, Les, and Warren jamming all night sends goosebumps down my arms . . .

    Recently saw this . . .

Grilled Cheese - $1, Sammy Smiths - $5, Headies - $50, Phatty Glass - $60, Tickets - $35, but the smell of the parking lot after a Phish show and the silence during "Divided Sky"? Priceless . . .

  • Pretty afe to say...

Phish Summer Tour... June 11-14 they are open and not playing any shows... No big festival multi night tour closer.. Either Phish is playing Broo or Their individual bands are playing... But if they are in the middle of a tour I dont think they are going to want to break the vibe.. My bets are on Phish

  • Bruce Springsteen

He'll indeed be touring Europe in late May, June, and July... BUT in this period there is a 3 weeks gap  in the middle of his tour: From June 10th to July 2nd...

    6/9Bergen, NorwayKoengenSOLD OUT
    6/10Bergen, NorwayKoengenSOLD OUT
    7/2Munich, GermanyOlympiastadionON SALE
    7/3Frankfurt, GermanyCommerzbank Arena

    ON SALE

So there's gotta be a reason for this gap... especially with this stop on 6/10... right before the Bonnaroo dates.

  • Whatever!

Did you see the wicked tea bag that Bruce planted on the camera guy, haha! He became the boss tonight as far as I'm concerned! As long as he busts out "Spirits in the Night" he's allright by me.

"bruce still has energy but I find his songs shitty"

Just so I have this straight, your idea of shitty songs are:

    Kitty's Back
    Incident on 57th Street
    New York City Seranade
    Jungleland
    She's the One
    Rosalita
    Born to Run
    Point Blank
    Saint in the City
    Growin' Up
    Brilliant Disguise
    Murder Inc.
    Reason To Believe
    Nebraska (the whole album)
    Thundercrack
    The Fever
    Racing in the Streets
    The Promised Land
    Prove it All Night
    Spirit in the Night

I'll stop there, please tell me your list of "non shitty" songs by one artist, that would be interestest.

So many people talk out of their ass it's absurd now.
